OUR STORY
What can fix Haiti?
With all the layers of corruption, poverty, and devastation, it seemed like a question without an answer.
But the ‘problems’ of Haiti are not simply practical. Throughout Haiti’s history, billions of dollars have been donated, buildings built, schools and feeding programs created. Nothing has “fixed” the country or even remotely set it on a better path.
We believe the solution is going for the roots and breaking the vicious cycles destroying the Haitian people.
DISCIPLESHIP
Discipling Individuals on a Deep Level
Cycles of abuse, pain, shame, and hate need to be broken and healed in the hearts of the people before Haiti as a nation can truly see change.
This can only come about through discipleship, like Jesus did with his 12 disciples.
The nation as a whole is over-evangelized and there are multiple NGO’s in every city providing relief work and mercy ministry. Both is needed, but there is a huge void.
There are very few ministries and even churches whose primary focus is on discipling individuals on a deep level, teaching things like Christ-like character, integrity, humility, healing, identity, and more.
We want a new generation of Haitian people who know who they are in Christ and can effectively walk it out in their families, schools, churches, etc..
Discipleship through the Arts
The Haitian people are incredibly gifted and anointed in the Arts, which includes music, dance, painting, drama, photography, and other forms of artistic expression. Revèy Haiti seeks to use our talents and calling to glorify God and disciple others. The arts is an incredible tool to do just that.
Going to the Deep Heart Matters of the Haitian People
In addition to discipling through the Arts, Revèy Haiti is passionate about going to the deep heart matters of the Haitian people, providing resources and tools to find healing from trauma, provide marriage counseling, relationship reconciliation, and more. Biblical counseling and mental health is a foundational aspect of our ministry.

Directors
The directors of Revèy Haiti, Rodberry and Lizzy Jacques, both grew up in missions in Haiti. Rodberry was a Pastor’s Kid, and Lizzy a Missionary Kid.
As they continued to minister in Haiti in their adult years, the most frequently asked question by foreigners and Haitians alike was: what can fix Haiti?
